How to Remove Flip3d In Vista

Windows Vista is popular for its visual effects. One of the most poplar effects in Windows Vista is the Flip3D facility. In case you are using a system which has got low end facilities then the number of windows displayed by the Flip3D feature should be reduced. Otherwise, it will affect the performance of the system. You can reduce the number of windows by using the following method.

1. Press WinKey+R.

2. Type “regedit.exe“

3. If asked for permission to launch the Registry Editor, click Allow.

4. Navigate to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\DWM

5. Right click and select New, click on “DWORD (32-bit)”.

6. Name the new DWORD value “Max3DWindows” (without the quotes)

7. Double click on the DWORD value and set it to the maximum number of windows you want displayed in Flip3D. A good number is 5 for low-end cards and 10 for high performance cards.

8. Click OK and exit the Registry Editor.

9. Press Ctrl+Shift+F9 to shutdown DWM, and then press the key combination again to restart it.

10. Press WinKey+Tab to display Flip3D.

Just keep on taking that first step every time you get stuck and you will surely find a way out.
   
3. Action cures fear- Have you ever experienced a situation that you have always feared in your life. There is a simple solution for getting rid of that fear i.e. to visualize the fear in your mind's eye. Close your eyes and just face the fear that you have and try to come up with a solution to that fear. Even if you don't find the solution you still know how to face it and you will be better prepared to face that fear in future.

Windows Vista SP2 RC-Escrow 6002.16659 v.275 (32bit and 64bit)

Because of the development of new Windows 7 operating system (which is still in beta), Microsoft is taking its sweet time to release the next Windows Vista Service Pack , namely Service Pack 2. According to a lot of rumors, the final RTM ( Release to Manufacturing) SP2 should be delivered to OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) and retailers during the second quarter of 2009. This means that the RC (Release Candidate) should become available around March (still according to rumors, don’t forget that we are speculating here). Anyway, in there Internet it looks like a SP2 RC-Escrow build, leaked by a good willed guy, is already available for download. But what a RC-Escrow build is?

Well, a RC-Escrow build is a special Service Pack which, differently from a beta build , has finished its developing stage. It is supposed to be the last, or at least one of the last “unofficial” release before the final one. Usually developers and testers use it to test and see if there isn’t any urgent and immediate fix which may take the package back to the development stage. After all this writing, I know what you are thinking about. Where is this SP2 RC-Escrow? Here are the links to download it. A final note. The build for this Windows Vista SP2 RC-Escrow build is 6002.16659.090114-1728 and once installed it will update your PC to Windows Vista Service Pack 2, v.275. Keep in mind that in order to install this SP, you need the SP1 installed in your computer.
